Built between 2005 and 2007, Airoso is the only Townhome-style residences available in Pacific Highlands Ranch and surrounding areas. Because of that, they are often in high demand and area great way for families with children in school to find a reasonably priced home within walking distance to some of the best schools in the county.
Standard Pacific Homes sold the last few homes in early 2007 and all the available homes now are re-sale properties. There are four different plans offered with Plans 1 & 2 differing only in whether a loft or bedroom is built-in and are either 2 bedrooms with a loft or 3 bedrooms with just under 1,500 square feet. The plans 3 & 4 offer either 3 bedrooms with a loft or 4 bedrooms and nearly 1,600 square feet.
One of the best features of Airoso is the resort-like community. Included in the relatively low HOA fees are everything from pool, spa and tennis, to basketball, billiards, volleyball and a movie theater. And as a special feature for its owners, there is a 2 bedroom suite that can be rented for visiting family or friends – it’s a great alternative to a hotel.
Prices as of 2007 ranges from the low $500,000s up to about $600,000 for the best locations and upgrades. Please keep in mind, Airoso townhomes do not have large outdoor patios or yards but most homeowners don’t miss them and are happy to take advantage of the great shared amenities and open greenbelts that are throughout the community.
Local schools within walking distance include Sycamore Ridge Elementary (public) and Cathedral Catholic High School (private) as well as the brand new public high school – Canyon Crest Academy.
